Kinetic Bridge
This kinetic bridge design sought to inject a sense of motion and energy into an otherwise static form. Bridges are reactive to forces exerted upon them and I wanted to design a bridge which could proactively deploy and adapt itself to changing needs or configurations. I manipulated the geometry to accommodate several possible re-configurations of the unitized system. This provided for the possibility of new temporal and spacial relationships between people crossing over this new bridge.
